Kayla Enav, M.S. Student

CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Kayla was drawn to the field of counseling through a genuine passion for connecting with others and a longstanding curiosity about the experiences that shape who people are. She has always been interested in understanding how individuals make sense of their lives, relationships, and challenges, while also finding meaningful ways to support others and make a positive impact.

As a clinical intern, Kayla is interested in exploring a range of therapeutic approaches and working with clients across diverse backgrounds, concerns, and stages of life. She is especially interested in learning how different techniques can be thoughtfully adapted to fit the unique needs, experiences, and goals of each client. Kayla believes therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, but rather a collaborative relationship shaped by the individual sitting in the room.

Above all, Kayla hopes to become a therapist who helps clients better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and move toward meaningful growth. She is passionate about creating an open, accepting environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences without judgment. Throughout her internship, Kayla is excited to continue developing the clinical skills, perspective, and confidence that will support both her clients and her growth as a future therapist.
